This optional upgrade will improve the appearance of the engine  compartment as well as improve the functionality. The heat shielding  provides superior protection against radiant heat. 

This option also includes high-tech heat shielding for the footbox fronts and tunnel sides. This heat shielding will reflect up to 1000°F and will protect against a direct continuous temperature of 400°F. 

The firewall kit includes pre-bent aluminum panels, fasteners, and self-adhesive backing to make installation a simple operation.
