Our aluminum fuel cell option is designed to fit any Hurricane car with 9″ rear end or IRS.  If you have an original Roadster, the new aluminum fuel cell fits right  into where the original poly tank was mounted. You can bolt the side  rails from the bottom side and use your original straps. Your straps  will need to be shortened to install the new tank. We can provide new  straps if needed.

The fuel out has an 8 AN male fitting, the air vent line has a 1/4  NPT female fitting, and the fuel return line has an 8 AN male fitting.  The sending unit is on top in the same location and has the same bolt  pattern as the poly tank. The fuel cell has dual baffles to minimize  sloshing and has an approximately 16-gallon capacity. They have been  pressure tested to ensure their integrity.
